What’s something you do completely differently from how you were raised?
Things change over time and obviously technology has changed a lot of things. I remember writing papers and having piles of books for research and sitting in a library for hours to write a paper for a class. It was nauseating having to keep the notes and mark pages…and the fighting over resources was ridiculous.
Then if you weren’t able to get all the information you needed you were lucky if you at least had a full encyclopedia set at home. I remember having to go from library to library because the book you needed was already in use by someone else.
So yes how I complete research has completely changed from how I was raised to perform. No more late nights and hoping to find what you are looking for. Just making sure to find reputable sources is the key now. I can find the same information in 20-30 minutes that would have taken forever to find before.
I’m really thankful that researching is completely different from when I was raised.
