This week so far I have organized notes, did some writing and gotten about 850 words into my book writing. To fill the time when I don’t have time to work on the book I free write. I’ve shared a couple of those here because it is what I like to do with n my phone, laptop, or tablet…at least 250 words a day.
I haven’t felt frustrated with my writing, but more frustrated with the time I have to work on my book. Most of my writing takes place on the weekends, and that is ok but I really want to have time to work on it more.
I’m starting to do some research on the time period I’m writing about in Canada, and the orphanages at that time. I want to know what things were like and what a child might experience there. Research is sometimes one of the best parts about writing.
It is nice to have a plan.
