What’s the worst travel experience you’ve ever had?
I’ve traveled a lot, but the worst experience I ever had, and it wasn’t at the destination but getting there that sucked. It was when we went to Scotland last year…the country is beautiful but the airports and customs getting there and coming home were horrible.
I understood and had patience but that doesn’t mean I was happy. I have to say that coming home was the worst. JFK is not a fun airport and the line was so fucking long. They had no organization and it was almost as bad as O’Hara on the way back from Ireland the year before. I wish I had a picture of that line. It had to have been at least a mile or two long.
The long and the short of it is I have enjoyed every place I have been, but the getting there is the worst part, especially coming home from overseas.
