I think I mentioned starting to work on creating a zine before, but if I didn’t I am. I printed up one last night as a test one. I can see how the layout works but have some refinement I would like to do with it. I think I made it too long and need to break up the zine into a few parts.
The zine I’m creating is a collection of flash fiction stories I have written. Right now I have a 36-page zine, but that seems pretty long for something like that though the internet says different. I can also feel like there is some other refinements like the layout of the pages. I also have thought about some illustrations that could go with it, but I’m no artist so I might use some AI tools to help create some images to go with the stories…I wish I was.
I have also thought of maybe doing a zine that includes other people’s work, but that would be online. That is just another idea in the works or at least in my brain…lol.
Lots of ideas and new things to discover. Let me know what you think. Have you ever created a zine or create zines? Do you have any thoughts on starting an online zine?
