“There is no reasoning with the ones that see nothing outside of their own world,” he told me, and by him I mean Robert Buckney. He was the person that understood me and became my mentor. He understood my strengths and my weaknesses and brought me into the light. I can’t imagine where I would be without him.
The first time I ran into I was walking the street heading to a party down what would be considered the bad part of town. This was where nothing but the best drug dealers and prositutes sold their goods. That night was especially good because I had just picked up a dime and gotten a blow job from Rita, she had the nickname Hoover, and it was accurate.
Anyway, I was walking down the street when I heard some rustling in the bushes just past the park fence, “Oh yeah, someone is getting lucky tonight,” I said and walked towards the bushes. I always considered myself somewhat of a voyeur. Sure some would say pervert but I preferred a admirer of love.
When I walked up to the bushes I heard a scream and knew she was getting it good. I pulled the bushes aside and peered through and saw a woman’s face, but her eyes were wide open. I pulled back and turn to run but there was a person stopping me. I couldn’t see their face but felt their leather gloves around my neck. I thought for sure I was dead and passed out.
When I woke up I was tied to a chair in a dark room. I had no idea where I was, but knew it couldn’t be good. I had just witnessed a murder and I was pretty sure whoever killed that woman was the one who had me tied up. I heard the door open behind me and started begging for my life.
“Did you like what you saw,” the man asked.
I was startled and didn’t know how to react. If I said no what would he do so I stammered out, “Yes.”
I felt his hands on my shoulders, “Are you sure,” he asked. I nodded.
I kept thinking and hoping this was the right answer. I just wanted to make it through this alive and then I heard another person in the room, or at least I heard foot steps but could tell their voice was being muffled or maybe they were being gagged.
“I need to know you aren’t lying to me, so I’ve got a test for you,” and then he tossed a young tied up woman in front of me on the floor.
I stared at her on the floor. Her arms and legs were bound together, I think it was call hog tying. She was wimlering, but her mouth was gagged. When she sat up I could see mascara running down her cheeks. I looked back and then felt a cool steel blade ride along my wrists and then the rope was cut.
“Stand up,” the man said with a gruff voice.
I did as I was told and stood still. I didn’t want to piss him off, and I didn’t dare turn around. The man walked past me facing away and then suddenly spun around and put a knife to my throat.
I could feel the cold blade mixed with the warm blood of the woman laying before me. He laughed and brought the knife down to his side.
“What do you want from me,” I asked him.
He didn’t immediately say anything. In fact he acted as though he hadn’t heard me. And then he stopped in front of me and raised his head. He stared at me and I could almost feel him staring into my soul. He flipped his hand out with the handle of the knife towards me.
“Here show me that I can trust you. I want you to finish this thing off for me. I want you to finish what I started and then I don’t have to kill you.”
I stared at the knife contemplating the option set before me. I had no desire to die, but I didn’t know if I could do what he asked. I stood motionless as he kept pushing the knife towards me till finally I took it in my own.
He stepped back and pulled out a gun and said, Now don’t you think about turning that on me.”
I could feel the power of holding a weapon in my hands run through me. I was honest with myself in that moment I wanted to please him. I wanted to kill this girl. I felt a surge of adrenaline and jumped on top of her and began stabbing relentlessly.
All the while he stood watching me and laughing. His laugh was a cackle of pure evil and he said, “You will be a fine student and I will be your murdering teacher.”
