The longest trip I have ever taken was to Qatar. I lived in Illinois at the time and going halfway around the world for ninety days is both the longest in distance and time I have ever been away from home.
It was an interesting trip and was able to see some things from a different perspective. A new culture to me is always interesting and enlightening in its own way.
